Matthew Petock - Writer/Director
Matt grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He has always been creative, playing for years in rock bands with his best friends. After a year at James Madison University, a state school in Virginia, Matt moved to New York in 2004 to take part in the prestigious film program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While at NYU Matt has directed several short films, each of which has been well received amongst his professors and his peers. For over two years now Matt has been working at Sikelia Productions, and after graduation he plans on pursuing his first feature film.
Carter Gilman - Producer
Carter is also a Richmond native and has been close friends with Matt for seven years. This will mark Carter s first producing effort. He is currently a senior at the University of Virginia s School of Commerce and is eager to put his skills in business, finance and project management to use in the film world. After graduation he plans on moving to Chicago to pursue a career with Mercer Management Consulting.
Alexandra Fredricks - Associate Producer
Alex grew up in Toronto, Ontario and spent her first year of college studying in Italy. She moved to New York in 2004 to attend NYU where she has studied journalism, photography and cinema studies. Alex has worked at film festivals in New York and Toronto and currently holds a position at Tribeca Productions. After graduation she plans on staying in New York to continue her work with Tribeca.
Ben Dorf - Assistant Director
Ben grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts. He moved to New York in 2003 to pursue a film degree at NYU. Before his internship at the Weinstein Company and his current position at the Tribeca Film Festival, Ben spent four months in Ireland making a music video for an Irish rock band as part of an NYU study abroad program. Upon graduation, Ben is hoping to continue his work with the Tribeca Film Festival.
Philipp Engelhorn - Director of Photography
Philipp grew up in Munich, Germany and moved to New York in 2004 to pursue a film degree at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. In the past two years, this film will mark Philipp and Matt's fifth collaborative effort. In 2005 Philipp founded a non-profit organization which focuses on using cinema and film arts to promote cross-cultural understanding. After graduation, Philipp will work full-time with his non-profit, CINEREACH.
