New James Bond film suspended!
In news that will come as an awful shock to die-hard 007 fans, the producers of the new James Bond film have announced that production on it is to be suspended ‘indefinitely’. The problem with Bond instalment #23 is that MGM, the company who produce the films, is facing financial difficulties and uncertainty over its future.
The film was due to be released in 2011 or 2012 at the latest, but it looks as if Daniel Craig will have to put away the gadgets and his ‘torso of the year’ for now. No date for the film’s release has been given, and there is even uncertainty about the future of the Bond franchise itself, although industry insiders expect production will continue either with MGM or with another high-bidding film company.
