The other night on Channel 4 Predator 2 was aired. It was a good few years since I last saw this film, the 1990 sequel to the 1987 film Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the protagonist trying to hunt down an unknown being. At the end of that film the Predator is beaton by Arnie and self-destructs. 10 years on in time and the Predator comes to Los Angeles, the City is in a crisis with tropical temperatures and drug wars between Columbian and Jamaican gangs. The Predator is this time hunted by cop Danny Glover who after many attempts to track it down, kills it. As a sign of respect 3 other Predators drag the body away, and before flying off in their “spacecraft” they hand Glover an 18th Century Flintlock gun.
